Make the Kabab in a pan

Kebab is a famous and delicious Iranian dish made by grilling minced meat and grated onion on a barbecue. Today I want to tell you an interesting recipe that if you don’t have access to a barbecue at home or if you want to make a different and easier Kabab, you can make it with a pan.

Kabab Tabei means the Kabab that made in a pan. This dish is very tasty and one of my favorite foods, not just me even though it is a popular dish among all Iranian people. It is a colorful dish and you can serve many tasty side dishes with it.

Ingredients:

. 600g minced meat

. 1 onion

. 4 garlic cloves

. Salt and pepper to taste

. 4 tomatoes

. Rice

First, for meat preparation, grate the onion and garlic cloves after that in a suitable bowl add the minced meat and pour all the grated onion and garlic. Add enough salt and pepper to the meat mixture in this step you have to knead the meat with other ingredients well until all of them mix well, mixing meat with onion and spices is very important and effective on kabab taste.

Now, put the mixture in the refrigerator for twenty minutes to rest, following that, choose a pan and add a little oil “Depending on your preference, you can choose to cook Kabab Tabei without using oil.” Make some small pieces of meat in your hand and put the pieces in the pan, if you use oil you should cook and fry the meat pieces, or if you want to have a healthier dish you can just put the pieces in the pan and close the pan, for steaming them without oil. I prefer to cook Kabab Tabei without oil because it is more healthy and even delicious!

You can serve the tomatoes in two different ways with Kabab Tabei. Firstly, wash and slice the tomatoes then add a bit of salt and fry them in a separate pan, finally serve dried tomatoes in your dish. Secondly, puree the tomatoes and add a mount of salt and pepper then let them cook in a pot with a low flame when the puree thickens, you have a sauce that you can serve with Kabab.

When the meat cooked until it’s tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Meanwhile, in a separate pot, boil the rice until it’s fluffy and perfectly cooked. Once the meat is ready, pour the rich and tomato sauce over it and serve it alongside a plate of steaming hot rice. The combination of the savory meat and the flavorful sauce, balanced perfectly with the light and fluffy rice, makes for a delicious and satisfying meal.
