Makaroni a Persian spaghetti

Today, I want to write you about an Iranian spaghetti that is a delicious version of spaghetti! In this version of the dish, we have added a variety of spices to flavor the spaghetti and then cooked it to perfection to create a delicious and tender meal.

We want to add Tahdig to the Makaroni to have a full Iranian dish. Tahdig is a completely Persian recipe that makes any food tastier! Iranian mom’s always serve Makaroni with Tahdig, especially potato Tahdig which is very delicious with this dish.

Ingredients:

. 700g spaghetti

. 500g ground meat

. 4 large onions, sliced

. 3 large cloves garlic, grated

. 2 tablespoons tomato paste

. Salt and pepper to taste

. 1 teaspoon turmeric

. 1 teaspoon curry powder

. 2-3 potato, sliced

. Oil

To start your cooking, choose a pan and put it on the flame. Pour oil into your pan, when the oil is hot add the sliced onions to the pan and fry until the onions become light. Now, it’s time to add the ground meat to the pan, mix the onion and meat very well, and fry them slightly together.

Add the salt and pepper and also turmeric and curry powder, curry is the important spice for Makaroni and makes it tasty! Next, grate 2 or 3 cloves of garlic and add to the pan, in this step, you should add tomato paste too after that fry all ingredients together. Then pour 2 cups of water, preferably hot water, and cover the pan increase the flame until the water boils when it boiling decrease the flame and let it simmer and cook the meat.

When the meat is cooked, The key is to ensure that the mixture has the right consistency in this particular step. It should not be too dry or too watery. On the other hand, put a pot full of water on the other flame and turn the flame let it until the water boils, and add a little salt and turmeric to the water, if you want you can pour a little oil. Add spaghetti to the pot and let the spaghetti cook.

When the spaghetti is cooked, drain that. In a pot, pour a little oil and add sliced potatoes, place them on the bottom of the pot. Now pour the mixture of onion and meat into the cooked spaghetti and mix them well after that, pour this mixture into the other pot, over the potatoes. Cover the pot of spaghetti and let it simmer until the aroma of Makaroni is released. Your Persian Makaroni is now ready.

Serve this tasty and aromatic spaghetti with Tahdig (crispy potatoes). You can use bread for Tahdig instead of potatoes or just let it fry spaghetti on the bottom of the pot.
